Prior to joining Floating Windfarms, Ms. Meng was a Senior Research Scientist at Texas Center for Superconductivity, University of Houston. Through her long distinguished career in physics, Ms. Meng has published over 250 papers, achieved many major breakthroughs, and received five joint patents in superconductivity. Additionally, she has received numerous honors and awards including being named Honorary Professor in five universities, being ranked 25th out of the 1000 most cited physicists from 1981- June 1997 by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) (http://www.sst.nrel.gov) and being identified as one of the world's most cited authors (less than 1/2 of 1 percent of all publishing researchers) by ISI Current Contents-2000, updated list based on important scientific developments of the last two decades.
Ms. Meng received her Bachelor of Science degree from Central South University in Hunan, China, in 1958.
